This year`s spring tea, especially in the mid to high altitude tea areas, was delayed due to unusual climate conditions and dry weather without rain, leading to slowed tea leaf growth and reduced yield. On average, the harvest was delayed by about ten days, and in some cases, due to uneven growth, the tea trees were pruned to encourage new growth, resulting in at least a 40-day delay. From the photos, the darker tea trees represent those with almost no buds, while the light green tea trees already have longer buds, which is related to the terrain`s water content. If a significant amount of water is provided, there is a chance for the tea leaves to be harvested according to the solar terms, with the watering amount calculated in hundreds of tons of water.
